The Vehicle City International Oldtimers Hockey Tournament originated in Flint in 1986 with eight teams. The Tournament was moved to Dearborn, Michigan in 1991 where it kept growing and reached a high of 92 teams in 1993 and was at that time recognized as the "Largest Oldtimers Hockey Tournament In North America". Due to the decline of the Canadian Dollar, which influenced the participation of the Canadian Teams, the Tournament returned to Flint, Michigan in 1996. Currently we utilize Flint Iceland and Crystal Fieldhouse arenas for the tournament games.

Our main goal has always been to provide a quality hockey tournament for all participants and to maintain the reputation this tournament has achieved. We continually strive to exceed the expectations of all participants and guests. The Tournament Committee Members put forth great efforts to accommodate all visitors during this "Oldtimers Hockey Weekend" and they are to be commended.

On behalf of the Tournament Committee a sincere thank you to all participants, visitors and volunteers for your support and cooperation over the years.
